Our Service Fees

When our office answers a call to engage in tax preparation service, our staff is asked very often “What do you cost”. This is not easy to answer due to many factors. There are layers of aspects that can be involved. It could be a very simple tax return, very complex and time involved or likely somewhere between. A simple return could be one or a few wage income reports (Form W-2), renting home with one 14-year-old child. In contrast it could be husband employed, wife runs a small business and five children ranging from 4 years old to first year in college with three rental properties.

While the concern about the price is understandable, it is important to also consider the value and beneficial results of the service provided. Did the prior preparer overlook areas that should have been included like usable business expenses and other deduction (happens a lot) and your Tax Bill was $ 2,500 higher than what our office would achieve on your Tax Return. So that office charges $ 450 and you overpaid the government by $ 2,500. In contrast our office might charge you $ 850 and your tax bill due to the government reduced by $ 2,500. Your benefit would be $ 2,100 more in your bank account. What path would most individuals want to take. Pay less for the service and pay the government more or pay more for the Tax Return Preparation and keep $ 2,100 more in your bank account. Our office track record demonstrates that our clients benefit from our results more than most other offices. The other office likely spent less time and less care about your results. Better value is worth a higher price.

The choice of tax preparer directly influences the quality of the outcome. Our clients recognize that our reasonable pricing is justified by the significant financial advantages we deliver. They appreciate how our business works tirelessly for their benefit, consistently producing favorable results. Our commitment remains steadfast in making a positive impact on our client finances, ensuring that the results do not benefit the government by an overpayment of taxes.

Our average tax return price will range from $675 to $975. This is in line with State of California averages. Billing and cost is directly related to the required reporting forms necessary to report your tax return. Many of the forms benefit the lowering of the total tax. Other factors involved are the required reporting of matching report documents and necessary or requested communications regarding our service to you.

S-Corp tax returns range from $1,500 to $3,000 depending on content.
